When the snow flies - and we actually hope it does - we head to the hills for some skiing!
There are many reasons we love ski season - fresh air and exercise, keeping away the winter doldrums, getting our eyes away from computer screens and enjoying the camaraderie of family and friends who love to ski. And for some of us... it's the pure joy of speed!
We kicked off the season with a day at the Women's World Cup Ski Race at Killington Mountain which was a blast! The crowd was amazing and cheered for skiers from every country - truly inspiring.
Josh is coaching our local Woodsville High School Ski Team for the second year and this year, our 8th grader is racing with the team! The team trains at Cannon Mountain in Franconia, NH - our home away from home these days. Here are some photos...
